Leadership

 

There are many examples that speak to Mr. Manson’s leadership capabilities and commitment. He is an active member in a variety of church committees, programs and events, including the St. Francis de Sales Community Christmas Dinner—a successful annual event in its 18th year.

A firm believer in the need for strong community ties, he has helped guide children as a youth and scout leader. Mr. Manson has also participated in various community activities in support of literacy and health care.

From 1982 to 1994, Mr. Manson served as a trustee on the Lanark County Board of Education. During this period, he served three terms as Chair of the Board and two terms as Vice-Chair of the Board.

For many years Mr. Manson has been a member of the Federal and Provincial riding associations. During this time he has worked on election campaigns at both levels. Mr. Manson is currently an active member of the executive of the Lanark-Carleton Provincial Liberal Association.
