Christmas
Newsletter 2002
Dear
Members,

elcome
back from a hot, steamy Ontario summer! Our Summer School is passed and gone
with great accolades of grandeur pouring in from all over. Many thanks to all
those who made this a great success, including all the registrants who made it a
“go.”
Due to the eighteen months of preparation for the Summer School, planning
for any Fall events was impossible.
The committee met on Friday, September 13th, 9:30 a.m. at Knox
United Church in Cornwall. The
Questionnaire turned in by 23 of the registrants was reviewed and plans were
discussed for the Spring events which will be Hymn Festivals and Reluctant
Organist/Choir Director workshops. Don
Findlay has offered to host an all day event at MacKay United in Ottawa in Sept.
2003.
After the meeting we had a lovely walk to 340 Sydney St. where Rosemary
and Bill Brown had a wonderful lunch prepared for us.
Many thanks, Rosemary and Bill!! We
all appreciated this very much.....certainly better than any restaurant.
Included
in the Newsletter are reports and pictures of the Summer School.
God
sent His singers upon earth,
With
songs of sadness and of mirth,
That
they might touch the hearts of men
And bring them back to Heaven again.”

Wishing you Peace and Love at Christmas Time and a
Wonderful,
Musical New Year!
