Welcome to the art page, I hope you enjoy yourself.

Alliance Deep Space platform 13 after it's destruction in the 3rd Dark War.  One of the first pictures to be uploaded to the site, it was featured on the main page for several months while I neglected the site.

A drawing made in 2002 while working on updating the looks of several species and their ships.  The Rovinar received the most drastic upgrade of any of the longer used species.  Not only did I change the entire design philosophy of their ships but the look of the people as well.

My semi- Titan A.E. based planet explosion was drawn in high school while waiting for the teacher to check my computer work.

A drawing of torpedo and missile weapons from mid high school.  This was the first time I had tried to accurately visualize how they would look.  I was still drawing heavily from Star Trek at the time and I may later need to redesign some of these.

A very rough sketch detailing the look of several starfighters that have had recurring roles.  From left to right are the Terran 'Arrow' Interceptor, Republic 'Type 4' Attack Bomber, and different versions of the Kavarian 'Enforcer' starfighter.  The look of the Arrow being so similar to the Star Wars A-wing has been a constant source of grief as I'm not certain weather I'd be sued or not over it.  It's shape has changed over the years to being closer to that of an arrow head rather than the A-wing.  I nearly screamed when Star Wars Episode II came out, introducing a fighter even closer to mine.

The Terran Pinnacle class Super Heavy Cruiser.  I only used the design once in the main story line but was always interested in the possibility of using in an alternate reality setting. to have more built.

A look at shuttle design incorporating a magnetic accelerator for takeoff.

Various Drawings from the 3rd Dark Wars

Drawn in late high school during English classes over several days.  Remarkably it was drawn on the back of a handout for what I considered the least boring book we studied: Death of a Salesman.

A picture featuring the older style boxy drive section in the foreground which I replaced in 2002-2003 with a more octagonal design.

Forward view design for the ACS class of ships.  The longer I have to deal with the issue, the more I realize that my ships are too darned BIG.

Book covers that I made up as part of an art study project in college.  The plan was to draw in rough then scan them and edit them in Photoshop.  Ugh!  I'd have gone about things a bit differently if I were to attempt it nowadays.  Hindsight is 20/20 though... well mostly.

My personal favorite of the different book cover designs I drew, it failed to match up with the other space based covers destroying any unity of design.

Real smart one here.  I had the brilliant idea of having a space scene... I edited it in Photoshop for the background but lost that version some time ago.

A busy space battle scene... what was I thinking?!  Good in concept. Bad in practice.

My second favorite cover design. Features the then newly designed Katana class Starfighter.  -2003
(I still love that design.)  I wish I could find the drawings I made of the improved version of it.

MS Paint Designs

In the several years while I lacked AutoCAD I managed to draw up many of my Starfighter designs using Paint.
One of my current projects is conversion of these designs to AutoCAD format.  Progress is slow.

The Republic 'Type-4' Attack Bomber is one of my favorite starfighters in the series.   I'm constantly trying to
adjust it's look to more accurately fit the stories.  The lower of the two is my latest attempt which is closer to
the intended design than most of the previous ones.  The upper one, drawn in 2004, was based on a sketch I
had made back in 2003.

Terran 'Arrow' Interceptor, my oldest starfighter design.  First envisioned back in 1997.
Remarkably it was one of the last fighters I drew up in Paint during my 2003-2004 Starfighter Renaissance.

Never came up with a decent name for this fighter.  I created it as a failed military test aircraft that was abandoned
and converted to civilian Air show use.

The Katana class Starfighter.  This was one of the first starfighter grade ships I designed to carry shields.
Later designs have surface shields projectors, allowing the fighter to carry a Jump core in place of the old
Shield generator core.
