Court Thrift Shop at
The shop opened in 1964, and in 2004 celebrated its 40th anniversary of continuous operation. It is now the principal source of funds for the club’s projects. Shop proceeds, approximately $30,000 annually, fund May Court projects and provide a source for contributions to individuals and institutions in the community. All funds stay in the community.
As well as generating funds, the shop provides a source for low-cost clothing and household items, as well as revenue to customers who sell on consignment.
Members of May Court staff the shop. Volunteer committees maintain stock and constantly work to improve the operation.
