20th Anniversary

Happy 20th Anniversary! The Thousand Islands Quilters' Guild has a reason to celebrate. Twenty years ago, a group of women got together and formed this guild. The first meeting was on September 24th, 1987 at Toniata School. It was their hope that the meetings would provide a sharing and learning experience for all those who joined. Over the years, there have been many changes but what remains the same, is the desire to promote quilting and provide opportunities for all our members to learn new skills, make new friends and give back to the community. This year, I encourage all of you to challenge yourselves to get involved in the guild activities that are planned. Try something new and see where it takes you. Above all, have fun!
